Paul Crichton über Kommissar Mozart (Tom Ots)

The doctor and acupuncture specialist, Thomas Ots, makes his literary debut with a thriller which immediately engages the reader with its charm and wit. The style is punchy, at times telegramatic, and makes skilful use of dialogue. The main characters are drawn with psychological acuity, especially the protagonist, Kommissar Mozart, whose good and bad qualities are delineated convincingly. There are interesting references to the political debates of the 1960’s and the present. The plot keeps the reader guessing and the ending is quite unexpected. This book is a pearl of the detective-story genre.
