FrarlzThaler
is
not
Jewish
nor
has
any Jewish
bloodline,
but he
still
went
to
Dachau. He was
recruited by
the
aflny,
but
he
didn't
want to
go,
he
knew
it
wasn't
the
right
thing
to
do.
So he
ran away, but then
he heard
that
if
he
didn't
return his
family
would
be
killed.
He-retumed
and
the
court
decided that
he was
to
serve a sentence
of ten
years
in
Dachau.
He did not
serye
his
fullten
years
at
Dachau
because
Dachau was
liberated before he
could.
Then the
Americans
keep
him
away
without
food
for
six
days
until
finally
they let
all
Italians
go. He then makes
his
joumey
home
and does,
return
home.
This book is
about
a
man
who
decided that
Hitler's
army
was
doing
evil
and
for
not
joining
the army, he faced
a
teacherous fate. Unforgotten
shows
how
he had
to
have
the mental
power
and
the
strength
to
survive
the
Holocaust
and
come out
with
at
least
a
tiny
part of his
soul
and
heart
left.
To be
able
to
come home
still
standing
through all
the
touble
and
walking
he had
to
do.
To only
have
Thaler's
religion
and
faith to
help
him
through the Holocaust. He was
able
to
keep
all the
anger
inside and start
a
family;
no
matter
how
many years after the
Holocaust,
it
would
be
hard
to
do that.
Yet
he
did. This
book
is
a
great
story'I
would
recommend
to
13
year
old
people or
older
because
it
is
still
